Are you a Non-Profit?

Nope. We are a for profit business with a serious mission to grow women-owned businesses while we grow our own. We believe that it’s one thing to teach and empower, it’s another thing to be right in it. We consider each of the brands that we are selling our partners and work to grow their business as we grow ours.

Why women?

More women than ever before are starting product based businesses. Overall, women-owned businesses are smaller, have less access to funding and are significantly more likely to fail within the first five years than male owned businesses. Procure has developed a unique model that builds a relationship with our vendors while we carry their product in the store, providing support, community and an entirely different way to approaching retail sales.

What about trans and non-binary folks?

Here for them. ALL. DAY. LONG. Our doors are open, our hearts are open and our community is safe for them. We cherish our trans and non-binary siblings and hope beyond hope that our brand, spaces and community are a beacon of comfort, safety and hope for them.

You seem aware of diversity, but what does that really mean to you?

Diversity is the answer. It is essential to the growth, success and authenticity of our community. We refuse to grow without engaging, listening to, being led by and supporting Black, Latina, Asian, Indigenous and minority women. Our staff is intentionally diverse from the top down. Our brand selection in the store is intentionally diverse. We recognize the implicit bias that exists in those of us who are white and are learning, self-reflecting and editing daily to create safe space for the women of color, brands led by them and their culture all around us.

Are you a consignment store?

Yes and no. Our model is retail as a service. We do have a consignment model and all of our brand partners have a consignment rate and agreement with us. The brands in our store are our “brand partners”. We chose this model for our store because it gives us the opportunity to be in constant and in depth contact with our brand partners. HOWEVER, we receive, process and merchandise product very similarly to a traditional retail store. Any way that we can assist in moving our brand partner’s product, we do!

How do I become a brand partner?

We deeply wish we could carry everyone who wants to be in our store. If you are interested in learning more about how to sell your product with us, please complete the short questionnaire HERE.

We do ask that brands who sell with us be able to provide depth of product, a quick turn around for restocking and have have the bandwidth to communicate with us.

What is The Women’s Creative?

The Women’s Creative is Procure’s parent company. We started as a series of vendor markets and continue to run big, unique public events that feature women-owned businesses. We have also developed a peer-group service that provides women-owned businesses concentrated support by intentionally paring them with similar founders in 12 week master-mind sessions.

Procure by The Women’s Creative was built from one of our vendor markets. Our first location opened in February of 2022 and we are so excited to see the growth that our brand partners receive from your purchases and continued support.
